The Outlaws celebrate capturing the 7-9-year-old flag football championship last week.
The City of Madera Parks and Community Services Department concluded a successful summer flag football season with two championship games under the lights at Town and Country Park.
Almost 100 children took to the fields in two divisions to participate in one of the fastest growing sports in the nation, and will be included in the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
The teams were coached by city staff or volunteers, and this is the third year of hosting the youth flag football program. It has grown from 18 players in the first year to 23 last year to 95 this year.
