Citizens Academy begins in March

The Madera Police Department Citizens’ Academy will begin on March 13 and run through May 22.

The Academy meets weekly on Thursday evenings from 6-9 p.m.

The academy incorporates classroom and hands on learning, including getting the opportunity to drive police cars and shoot guns.
