CHP Madera introduces new commander

New California Highway Patrol Lt. Cmdr. Sean Haller.
CHP Madera began the year 2025 with a new commander, Lt. Cmdr. Sean Haller.
Lieutenant Haller has been with the California Highway Patrol for more than 22 years. He graduated the CHP Academy in November 2002 and was first assigned to the San Jose CHP Area. He worked in San Jose for three years and transferred to the Coalinga Area in October of 2005. He then transferred to the Fresno Area in May of 2006.
While working in the Fresno Area as an officer, Lieutenant Haller and his partner, Officer Rafael Rivera, received the Medal of Valor for their bravery and courage.
