Chamber honors Bob Houlding

The Madera Chamber of Commerce honored Bob Houlding Jr., as the 2024 Senior Farmer of the Year at the annual dinner.

About 170 people attended this special event at the Madera Municipal Golf Course banquet room.

Houlding had decided this honor was not only his own, but also belonged to his two brothers, Jerry and Mike, who have been farming together with him on their 3,000 acres of almonds, cotton, tomatoes, garlic and wheat.
