The City of Madera and Black Saints United will host a Black History Month Celebration on Sunday at the Pan Am Center/Park, beginning at 3 p.m.

Previously, the celebration was held at McNally Park, but last year, weather moved the celebration indoors and it was a great event even with the move.

Organizer and Madera City Councilwoman Anita Evans is keeping the event at the Pan Am Center to make sure weather isn’t a factor in the ceremony.
