A big rig is towed away after it was involved in a collision with another big rig Friday morning.
Â
CHP Madera officers responded to a crash involving two big rigs, on westbound SR-152, west of SR-99.
A 31-year-old male was driving a red 2019 Kenworth, westbound on SR-152 and did not notice a 2020 Volvo with a box trailer, slowing down ahead of him early Friday morning.Â
The Kenworth collided with the left rear of the Volvo’s trailer. The violent impact caused the cab to be separated from the chassis. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts, and did not sustain any injuries.
