Baseball standout earns induction to Hall of Fame

When Nick Leach first heard of his induction, he was kind of confused and said he was already inducted.

However, the North Yosemite League Baseball Player of the Year in 1996 was earning induction with the 10th class of Madera Athletic Hall of Famers as an individual after getting inducted with the 1996 Central Section Championship baseball team in 2012.

“It’s a cool thing to think about with all the people and talent in Madera. To be honored with them is special and cool,” Leach said when the confusion was straightened out.
