Former Madera South cross country and track standout Jaydah Aguilar is making history at UC Merced while entering her senior season.
UC Merced women’s cross country and outdoor track senior Jaydah Aguilar from Madera South High School keeps running her way to victory.
The Bobcats star from nearby Madera is already a 7X All-California Pacific Conference performer, and she has made sure to excel in other areas as well.
Aguilar debuted for UC Merced on the cross country course on September 4, 2021. She was the Bobcats third scorer in the meet, finishing behind two of the top student-athletes in program history in Elizette Ysais and Alexandra Lopez. Ysais and Lopez both qualified for the NAIA National Championships that season. Aguilar knew that qualifying was something she wanted to accomplish in the future.
