A Honda Accord sits in front of a train after it was pushed about a quarter of a mile. The Honda hit a big rig and settled on the tracks. The driver was able to exit the vehicle without injuries.
CHP Madera officers responded to a non-injury crash on southbound SR-99, north of Road 15, near Chowchilla.
The driver of the Honda Accord was traveling in the No. 1 lane Thursday morning, and sideswiped a tractor-trailer traveling in the No. 2 lane.
The driver of the Honda lost control, veered off the roadway and came to rest on the railroad tracks.
