Wife bought some nice little raspberry cream cheese coffeecakes today. Package said: “Northwest Raspberries, Cream Cheese and Madagascar Vanilla.” Huh?

Madagascar Vanilla?

So, now I look on the back. Sugar, Enriched Bleached Wheat Flour. OK, but then it says reduced Iron. Isn’t Iron good?

Folic acid, liquid soybean oil, salt, carob bean, xanthan and/or guar gums. Margarine (whats in that?). Interesterified soybean oil (spell check doesn’t even know what that is). Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Aluminum Phosphate, Vital Wheat Gluten, Emulsifier of Fatty acid, Apple Powder? Vegetable juice, Sorbitan Monostearate among other things and Sea Salt.

There you go. Sea salt, It must be organic then. We’ll take it.

They were good!
