Madera turns out to pray

A full Hatfield Hall at Madera Fairgrounds hosted the 16th Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast in conjunction with the 65th annual National Day of Prayer.

Each of the 10 seats at all 42 tables were occupied for the Thursday event, according to Toni Jordon of the Madera Chamber of Commerce.

This year’s theme was Isaiah 58:1: “Shout it aloud, do not hold back, raise your voice like a trumpet.”
