Letter: ‘… and carry a big stick’

When an Illegal commits a violent crime and flees to Mexico, Mexico will not extradite to the U.S. because we have an (on the books) death penalty.

How come, then, do they allow their citizens to come anyway? Shouldn’t the Mexican government fear for their people when they cross illegally? Or do they know we use the Dr. Spock, “time out” method?

Perhaps no wall, but a real death penalty for drug and violent crime. Deportation for any other crime. Including retroactive false documents. We need a “big stick.”
