Go nuts at Pom Fest

Miniature train ride at Madera community event.
Children and families enjoy a fun train ride during a local festival.

The vibrant agricultural spirit of Madera is once again in the spotlight as the town gears up for the 12th annual Madera Pomegranate, Fruit & Nut Festival.

Mark your calendars for this family-friendly extravaganza, scheduled for Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Madera District Fairgrounds. The best part? Admission and parking are entirely free!

Excited about this year’s event, Debi Bray, President and CEO of the Madera Chamber of Commerce, said, “We are thrilled to honor Madera’s finest — from agriculture to live music, local products and delectable cuisine. Let’s remember that November is National Pomegranate Month, making this the perfect time to celebrate the pomegranate’s legacy in our beloved region.”
