We charge the least amount of anyone in the Valley. It is from $100-$150. A lot of the money goes to the scholarship for the kids. Our motto is we don\u2019t turn anyone away.\u201d<\/p><p>Each cooking team will turn in tri-tip and pork ribs for a chance at cash prizes. The cost to enter the barbecue is $50 per team with an Aug. 1 deadline. The meat will be provided for teams to cook.<\/p><p>Also, cooking teams are also required to have a carnival game for children to play. The team that earns the most tickets through their game will also receive a prize.<\/p><p>\u201cIt\u2019s a fun time for the kids,\u201d Edwards said.<\/p><p>The community is invited to this event. The MCYFC will also be selling barbecue plates for $10 for one meat and $12 meats. There will also be a full bar for adults.<\/p><p>\u201cLast year, we sold 200 barbecue plates and we had eight competitors,\u201d Edwards said. \u201cLast year, we cooked about 40 tri-tips and 27 slabs of ribs.\u201d<\/p><p>The MCYFC will play in a new league this year \u2014 the CenCal League \u2014 which has 10 teams.
