Kevelin Pinto got the ball in the middle and sent a pass to the left for Tapia. Tapia\u2019s quick shot went to the far corner off the Yosemite goalie into the net for a 3-1 Badgers\u2019 lead.<\/p><p>Yosemite responded with two goals in 1:14 to open the lead to 5-1.<\/p><p>Madera South got a man advantage. Tapia got the ball on the left and shot into the right corner to cut the lead to three with 2:17 left in the half.<\/p><p>Yosemite added a goal with about a minute left in the half. Madera South goalie Jatzelle Salazar recorded a pair of blocks to keep hinder the Badgers\u2019 offense.<\/p><p>Salazar made her presence felt in the second half. She recorded three blocks in the first four minutes of the half, including two blocks while being down two players due to ejections. Salazar also made a pair of catches to stop the Badgers.<\/p><p>Yosemite broke through with a goal under Salazar\u2019s arm to open a 7-2 lead with three minutes left in the quarter. Yosemite added another goal with a minute left in the third quarter with a skip shot under Salazar\u2019s arm for an 8-2 lead.<\/p><p>The Badgers opened the lead to seven with a goal 42 seconds into the fourth quarter.<\/p><p>Salazar started the Stallions\u2019 counterattack with a block. Thirty seconds later, Tapia, at mid pool, sent a skip shot by the goalie into the net for a 9-3 lead.<\/p><p>Yosemite added a goal 16 seconds later and another with 3:40 left in the game.<\/p><p>Madera South earned a five-meter penalty shot and Juleona Ruiz found the bottom left corner for a goal with 2:15 left in the game.<\/p><p>Seventeen seconds later, Yosemite answered with its own five-meter shot and skipped a shot under Salazar\u2019s arm into the left corner.<\/p><p>The Stallions closed the scoring with 28 seconds left in the match.<\/p><p>Sayra Montesinos got the ball on the left and sent a pass in the middle to Pinto.
