Some folks with no actual power wrote a declaration of independence for a large region of California. They don\u2019t have the authority to do so, so it means nothing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>\u201cAna N Jacob\u201d<\/strong> responded, \u201cOk I was like dam what the he\u2019ll are people doing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Medication causes hallucinations in 6-year-old<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n<em>A 6-year-old Texas girl had nervous system problems after taking a common flu medicine. Her parents say she had hallucinations and possibly tried to harm herself after using Tamiflu.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>\u201cTicia Martinez\u201d<\/strong> wrote, \u201cIvie Serrano they prescribed this to Leia good thing I didn\u2019t give it to her she kicked that flu\u2019s ass.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>\u201cIvie Serrano\u201d<\/strong> replied, \u201cThrow it away.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>\u201cMartinez\u201d<\/strong> replied, \u201cI already did the next day. They said give it to her for five days to reduce it from 5 to 7 days and it\u2019ll cut it down to 2 days. Well basic math lol, I was like that\u2019s dumb so I didn\u2019t give it to her n she was good the next night.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rants and raves<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Rant<\/strong> \u2014 The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) approved PG&amp;E\u2019s request to retire the Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant in San Luis Obispo County by 2025. \u201cPhillip Pistoresi\u201d wrote, \u201cDo the consumers have to pay this in addition to the \u201cNuclear Decommissioning Fee\u201d that we pay with every bill?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Rave<\/strong> \u2014 The Friends of Madera Animal Shelter recently shared photos of several dogs they had available for fostership. \u201cLisa Cosentino\u201d wrote, \u201cGeoff, looks like your kinda pup\u2026.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Rant<\/strong> \u2014 An apparently abandoned female poodle was found wandering with a pomeranian mix dog near Oregon Avenue on Tuesday afternoon, and authorities are asking for the public\u2019s help in locating her owners. \u201cSandra Trejo-Lacebal\u201d wrote, \u201cWho do I contact?\u201d (Editor\u2019s note: Anyone with information on the possible owner of the poodle is asked to call Madera County Animal Control at 675-7891.)<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Rave<\/strong> \u2014 The Madera District Fair recently announced their recognition by WFA Service Members at the Western Fairs Association convention <a href=\"https:\/\/maderatribune.com\/es\/home\/hashtags\/gowest\/\">#gowest<\/a> as a 2017 Gold Star winning fair. \u201cJim Curry\u201d wrote, \u201cGood job, congratulations!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Rant<\/strong> \u2014 Eighty-four-year-old Dianne Feinstein is seeking her 5th full term in the U.S Senate this year representing California and if the election were held now, she would have no problem taking the top spot and moving on to the General Election, according to KFSN News. \u201cJason Remner\u201d wrote, \u201cJust go away.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Rant<\/strong> \u2014 Tribune columnist Jim Glynn recently wrote an editorial about the new laws in effect for the state of California. \u201cKym Smith Salter\u201d wrote, \u201cThe state will now charge a fee to people who want to refinance a mortgage or make certain other real estate transactions. The $75 fee will be spent on providing low-cost housing to people in the state. At least that is the announced intention. You have got to be kidding me&#8230;It\u2019s expensive enough with points and all&#8230;.so now if we make any transaction we will pay 75.00 <a href=\"https:\/\/maderatribune.com\/es\/home\/hashtags\/Shithole\/\">#Shithole<\/a> Democrats!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>Rave<\/strong> \u2014 Madera Unified School District released photos from their Martin Luther King, Jr., Day celebration, thanking everyone show participated in the event. \u201cJanineRay Mariani\u201d wrote, \u201cI see her.
