Let\u2019s start with the current interpretation of the U.S. Constitution.<\/p><p>The Constitution is dead, according to the conservative-majority of the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS). It\u2019s been dead since it was ratified in 1789, except for its amendments. The death of America\u2019s preeminent legal document gives birth to originalism. <\/p><p>Originalism is a 1980s Ouija board legal theory created to allow conservative judges to rewrite American law. The Constitution must be read as it was originally written, like reading Founding Fathers\u2019 tombstones.
