Now we have a \u201cdoomsday glacier\u201d the size of Florida, in the Antarctic. It\u2019s melting, they say, and it will raise the sea levels 2 feet.<\/p><p>I don\u2019t know much, but I don\u2019t agree.<\/p><p>Water expands when it freezes. This glacier has broken away so it is now an Iceberg. Icebergs are 90 percent submerged, which means that \u201cwater\u201d is already in the ocean. Ten percent is above the water line, and that is all we are talking about. The vastness of the oceans can easily absorb that bit of ice. Imagine removing all of Florida\u2019s dirt and spreading it over the United States, not the world.
