He has a great attitude with the public and his peers,\u201d said a Madera Police Department statement. Mayorga started as an Animal Control Officer in 2020.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>The Dispatcher of the Year is Travis Varney. \u201cTravis is an excellent dispatcher. He has a great attitude and is always willing to help. He is team player and has covered many shifts this past year and has never complained or hesitated to do his part or help his fellow co-workers,\u201d said the statement. Varney started with the Madera Police Department in 2016 as a Public Safety Dispatch.<\/p><p> <\/p><p>The Officer of the Year is Reynard Camp. \u201cOfficer Camp has continuously been one of the most proactive officers on his assigned teams. He is excellent with the public and displays our values daily. Officer Camp is well respected by his peers and has a great attitude. He continuously strives to better himself and improve in his job performance,\u201d the statement read.
