A report was written and case was forwarded to Madera County Juvenile Probation.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>2:34 p.m. <\/strong>\u2014 Deputy was dispatched to a suspicious vehicle parked in a driveway of a residence in the area of Cutting and Martin streets in Madera. A stolen vehicle was discovered being parted out. The case was turned over to Madera Police Detectives. A report was forwarded to Madera Sheriffs detectives for review.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>3:43 p.m. <\/strong>\u2014 Deputies were dispatched to the 40000 block of State Route-41 in Oakhurst regarding a report of a subject harassing the store employee and then attempted to drive a vehicle into the store. A male passenger in the vehicle was found to be under the influence and in possession of prescription medication for sale. The male was arrested and booked into the Madera County Jail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oct. 17<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>9:35 a.m. <\/strong>\u2014 Deputy was requested on the 200 block of South G Street in Madera regarding a suspicious female. An investigation was conducted and the female was arrested for trespassing and obstructing or delaying a peace officer in performance of his duties. The case was forwarded to the Madera County Districts Attorney\u2019s Office to pursue charges.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>3:14 p.m. <\/strong>\u2014 Deputy was dispatched to conduct a telephonic report in Oakhurst regarding a forgery that occurred in the 40000 block of State Route 49. A suspect was identified. The case was forwarded to the Madera County District Attorneys\u2019 Office for charges to be filed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Oct. 18<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>4:47 p.m. <\/strong>\u2014 Deputy responded to the 22000 block of Avenue 18 \u00bd in Madera, following up on a theft report. The reporting party stated unknown subject attempted to pay their dine-in bill with a counterfeit bill and upon questioning the counterfeit bill the unknown subject paid a portion of the dine-in bill and left without paying the balance.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>7:44 p.m. <\/strong>\u2014 Deputy responded to the area of State Route 41 and Victoria Lane for a male subject with a gunshot wound to the leg. The deputy contacted the subject and located a firearm which was determined to have been stolen. The subject was transported to the hospital and a report was written. The case has been forwarded to the District Attorney\u2019s Office for filing of charges.<\/p>\n<p>\n<strong>8:46 p.m. <\/strong>\u2014 Deputy conducted a vehicle check in the 18000 block of Pistachio Drive in Madera. A vehicle was reported stolen to the Fresno Police Department earlier in the day. Three subjects were arrested and later booked into the Madera County Department of Corrections. The vehicle was turned over to the registered owner at the scene.
