{"id":3136,"date":"2019-02-07T00:12:07","date_gmt":"2019-02-07T00:12:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/maderatribustg.wpenginepowered.com\/?p=3136"},"modified":"2026-05-13T18:30:02","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T18:30:02","slug":"howard-4-h-club-serves-super-bowl-sunday-breakfast","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maderatribune.com\/es\/howard-4-h-club-serves-super-bowl-sunday-breakfast\/","title":{"rendered":"Howard 4-H Club serves Super Bowl Sunday breakfast"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"3136\" class=\"elementor elementor-3136\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-406f05c6 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"406f05c6\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2b48e11b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2b48e11b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Providing funds and programs and projects for the Howard 4-H Club, members gathered on Super Bowl Sunday morning in the Joe VanAlen Hall at the Madera District Fairgrounds to serve an annual breakfast that has become a community event.<\/p><p>\u201cThis is the yearly fundraiser,\u201d said Linda Galleano one of the adult volunteers for the club.<\/p><p>Serving sausage, scrambled eggs and pancakes, the group plans for 500 breakfasts, according to long-time event organizer Joanne Ylarregui.<\/p><p>There were about 30 parents preparing the food, and 40 members taking orders, serving meals and bussing the tables, she said.<\/p><p>No one is exactly sure how long this annual event has been held but it is at least 30 years and maybe longer, Ylarregui said.<\/p><p>The fairground is the third location for the event.<\/p><p>\u201cWe started at Ben Hayes Hall, moved to Griffin Hall when we outgrew the Farm Bureau and have been at the fairgrounds since,\u201d she said.<\/p><p>Families enjoying the festivities could be heard conversing and laughing, enjoying the event ambiance.<\/p><p>The extended Flores\/Petrucci family was talking honeymoon destinations for the upcoming nuptials of Mark Flores and Mika Petrucci.<\/p><p>Bud and Betty Smith said they are celebrating their 70th wedding anniversary this September.
