We always try to switch it up,\u201d said Adam Romero, Recreation Community Programs Coordinator for the Parks and Community Services department.<\/p><p>On the menu will be Marcelino\u2019s Mobile Wood Fired Pizza, De Rice, Fury Hot Chicken, PSP Grill and Ice, Taco Man, Hey Why Not BBQ, CNS Concessions, Knotty Chix LLC, Aguas Las Rancheritas and Emmies Sidewalk Cafe.<\/p><p>\u201cThere\u2019s not too many chicken sandwich places so that\u2019s why we use Fury,\u201d Romero said. \u201c<\/p><p>Last one, we had six with a few dessert people.\u201d<\/p><p>The previous four Madera Eats events have been deemed a success and that\u2019s why the event keeps coming around.<\/p><p>\u201cWe keep on having it because of the community involvement and the feedback we are getting,\u201d Romero said. \u201cIt\u2019s something cool for the city to have on the weekend to get food options they normally wouldn\u2019t get.\u201d<\/p><p>In addition to the food vendors, there will be 40 craft vendors, along with music in the park.<\/p><p>\u201cIt\u2019s a good community event,\u201d Romero said.<\/p><p>The time has been pushed back an hour because, hopefully, the weather will allow people to come out and have a good time.<\/p><p>\u201cWe started at 6 last time and people didn\u2019t start showing up until about 8:30 p.m.,\u201d Romero said.<\/p><p>In addition to the Madera community coming out and enjoying the event, Romero said the food vendors want to keep coming back.<\/p><p>\u201cThey love it. They know coming in that they are going to do well,\u201d he said. \u201cThere are people out there trying out different foods. We tell people to come ready for a long line and good food.\u201d<\/p><p>Any food vendors or craft vendors who would like to participate in future Madera Eats events, contact Nicki Rincon or Romero at the Madera Parks and Community Service office to get on the list.<\/p><p>\u201cWe do have a deadline for the food vendors,\u201d he said. \u201cOur next one will be in October. We do keep people on a list to contact for the next one. This is our fifth one and every one has been a success.
