When good things happen in my life, I say, \u201cI am blessed,\u201d or I may say, \u201cI am fortunate.\u201d I don\u2019t usually say to someone \u201cGood Luck.\u201d I usually say, \u201cBest Wishes.\u201d It would be extremely rare that you may hear me use the word luck.<\/p><p>I think people are lucky if they gamble and win something like the lottery, or if they hit the jackpot at the casino. That\u2019s probably not a blessing. It is luck, and not a result of prayer or that God has favored the winner.<\/p><p>I hear people say they are lucky to have great parents, or lucky to have a good job, or something else that may be a pathway God has prepared.
