On a night to honor five Madera South Stallions’ girls volleyball seniors, it was the McLane Highlanders that came out with more energy in a three-set sweep Tuesday evening.
The Highlanders put down 27 kills and 12 aces in a 25-23, 25-15, 25-16 win. The Stallions recorded 26 kills, but also missed nine serves while recording six aces.
The Stallions honored Isabella Zaragosa, injured Ariel Aguirre, Monica Placido, Allysson Daza and Esmeralda Jimenez before Tuesday’s match.
