Madera Police Department officers responded to a report of a pedestrian who was struck by a train in the area of Gateway Drive. and 3rd Street on Tuesday at about 2:45 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a 52-year-old male, who was deceased, near the railroad tracks.
All involved parties were contacted on scene. The circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation, however there is no indication of foul play.
