The Sheriff’s Office will never request funds or personal identifying information over the phone. If you receive a phone call of this nature, please contact Madera County Sheriff’s Dispatch at 675-7770.
Based on the information provided, the man identifies himself as Madera County Detective Dana Brooks. He makes phone calls from a 559 area code, and has a voicemail set up at the return number with the same identifying information.
