Madera County Public Works Department unveiled its new modernized Low NOx Flare during a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Fairmead Landfill last week.
U.S. House Representative John Duarte and California Assembly member Esmeralda Soria honored Madera County on this historic accomplishment.
This new Low NOx Flare is a vital component necessary to keep the County’s landfill facility compliant with regulatory requirements under state law. Madera becomes the first County in the San Joaquin Valley to possess this innovative component.
