Picture it: life, the beginning of time.
Though the Bible doesn’t expressly describe its formation, along with the earth, the water, the sky and the light… taxes took their place alongside the majesty of creation. And God said, “LET THERE BE TAXES,” some early translations exclaim. However, if you ask me, taxes pre-date God.
Not sure how that happened, but I’m pretty sure it’s true. Or possibly conjecture on my part. Don’t write on any stone tablets though.
