Distribution
Carlos Mercado has worked at The Tribune since 2005. He fills and maintains the coin-operated newspaper racks around Madera and Chowchilla. He is proud of “his racks,” and makes sure they are in good shape.
He arrives at the Tribune very early each day. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, he takes all the newspapers that are labeled for subscribers, and delivers them to the Post Office at approximately 4:30 am. He has never missed a delivery.
After the post office delivery, Carlos sets out to fill all the racks with the latest edition of The Madera Tribune.
Carlos is friendly and has a good attitude. He’s always willing to help and has some great ideas on how to get things done. He also maintains and repairs equipment around the office.
Carlos is like the elf who secretly does the work.
