The Community Action Partnership of Madera County will host the 16th annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event at Madera’s Courthouse Park.
The event will be held on Friday, beginning at 5:45 p.m. Check in and registration will begin at 5 p.m. Registration is also being taken at the Victim Services office (812 W. Yosemite Ave., Suite #101). There is a $10 T-shirt fee.
National Crime Victim’s Rights Week
CAPMC will also host a Victim Memorial Display at its office at 1225 Gill Ave.
National Crime Victim’s Rights week is from April 23-20. CAPMC will open the display on April 23 from 2-5 p.m. and on April 27 from 5-8 p.m. with an awards and memorial celebration.
