Drunk driver stopped

Madera Police Officer Jose Barajas was in the area of McNally Park, and observed a vehicle traveling on the wrong side of the street.

Barajas conducted a traffic stop, and 50-year-old Leonel Hernandez was identified as the driver. Hernandez showed signs of intoxication and did not perform well in field sobriety tests.

Hernandez provided a breath sample, and his blood alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit.
