The city has scheduled Monday, March 19, as the first day of this year’s residential curbside cleanup program, according to Michelle Avalos, Madera’s solid-waste coordinator.
The program is set to end Friday, April 27.
Avalos said information also can be obtained online on the City of Madera website. On the first page, under “upcoming events,” select the curbside information link to the regional map and the English/Spanish flyer of what items are acceptable to put on the curb, and which items will not be picked up.
In addition, informational letters will be mailed Thursday to city customers, with the regional map and the English/Spanish flyers of acceptable items.
