Madera City Councilmember Anita Evans will host her annual Christmas Extravaganza to raise funds to give toys to students at James Monroe Elementary School.

The event, which was previously held at the Madera Fairgrounds, will be moved to San Joaquin Winery on December 17, beginning at 4 p.m. The cost for the event is $49, plus an unwrapped toy for the toy drive.

Last year, Evans and her team gave out more than 3,500 toys in a two-day span.
