Entering an exhibit at the Fair is a long-loved tradition in Madera County — one that brings families, friends and neighbors together, creates a little friendly competition, showcases local talent and, of course, offers the chance to take home a blue ribbon and some serious bragging rights.
The 2026 Madera Fair is inviting community members of all ages and skill levels to enter this year’s exhibitor contests, with online entries closing August 25.
From baking and painting to succulents and photography, arts and crafts, collections and live food competitions, there is a place for just about every talent and passion at the Madera Fair. This year’s exhibits also include plenty of opportunities to celebrate the Fair’s “All American Party” theme.
“Every year, we hear people walking through the exhibit halls saying, ‘I can do that!’” said Madera Fair CEO Barbara Leach. “Well, this is your year to shine and enter! Whether you’re an experienced exhibitor or have never entered anything before, we want to see what our community can do.”
Exhibiting at the Fair is more than winning a ribbon. It’s an opportunity to share something you love, celebrate creativity and craftsmanship, and become part of a Madera Fair tradition enjoyed by generations of local families. And for Fair guests, strolling through the exhibit halls to see the creativity and talent of their friends, neighbors and fellow community members is a favorite part of the Fair experience.
Entries must be submitted online by August 25 at maderafair.com. Interested participants can review the available categories and find a contest that fits their talents, interests or hobbies.
The Madera Fair, presented by Valley Children’s Healthcare, runs September 10-13. Fairgoers can also save on admission and carnival fun with $5-off gate admission and carnival coupons, available online and at the Fair office now through September 9.
