Chowchilla Redskins (4-4, 2-2) vs. Liberty Hawks (4-4, 2-3) 7 p.m. at Hawks Field
This is going to be a classic battle of two teams that like to play smash-mouth football and power the ball with potent running attacks.
There is the misdirection of the Redskins' double-wing attack against the deceptive wing-T of the Hawks. Both average just over 300 yards per game and feature a trio of backs who all play big roles in their respective offenses...
Madera South Stallions (1-7, 1-2) vs. Roosevelt Rough Riders (4-4, 1-2) 7:30 p.m. at Sunnyside Stadium
Coming of their first win of the season, the Stallions hope to notch their second against a Fresno Roosevelt Rough Riders team that is more of a one-trick pony behind running back Mark Fields, who has rushed for 1,117 yards and 10 touchdowns on the season to account for 60 percent of the team's offense...
