VISALIA - Ashley Ware hit her second home run in as many games to kick-start the Coyote offense in a 6-1 revenge win against the El Diamante Miners Thursday afternoon.
Ware's blast sailed over the left-centerfield fence and there wasn't a whole lot of doubt where that ball was headed. Alexis Maciel drove in four runs from the No. 2 spot in the line-up to help the offense.
"We really wanted to get this win today," head coach Judy Shaubach said. "It was really easy to get the kids up for this game."
The Coyotes lost to the Miners in the Buchanan Preseason Tournament by the same 6-1 score.
