An American Red Cross program is offering Central Valley residents a chance to send holiday cards to military service members, their families and veterans from now through Dec. 7.

Submissions to the Holiday Mail for Heroes Program will be screened, sorted and boxed for delivery by Red Cross volunteers.

"One holiday card is all it takes to make a difference in the life of a military man or woman," said Ellen Knapp, executive officer of American Red Cross Central Valley Region.

Holiday cards should be addressed and sent to Holiday Mail for Heroes, P.O. Box 5456, Capitol Heights, MD 20791-5456.
