Hospital Foundation planning dinner dance to purchase medical equipment
The Madera Community Hospital Foundation is planning its 27th annual dinner dance to raise funds for new medical equipment for the hospital.
The event is scheduled for 6 to 11 p.m. Sept. 22 at Isla Vista Farms, 17632 Island Drive. Tickets are $50 each with tables of eight and 10 available.
The evening will begin with social hour from 6 to 7 p.m. with appetizers including chicken and peach skewers, Carolina crab cakes, and zucchini corn fritters. The will be a full, no-host bar.
Dinner will be served from 7 to 8 p.m. The menu is Southern comfort food — spicy barbecue chicken, slow cooked beef brisket, corn bread muffins with honey butter, sweet potato mash and peach cobbler with whipped cream prepared by MCH Custom Catering...
