Hawk Talk: Pancakes, senior nights planned

Thursday, November 05, 2009

By For The Madera Tribune - Victoria Bisbee

Liberty High School will hold a fund-raiser for the 2010 Prom on Nov. 7. There will be an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast in the theater from 7 to 10:30 a.m.

The cost of the breakfast will be $8 per person. Tickets are being pre-sold in the front office, but they can also be purchased at the front door. All of the proceeds will be given to the junior class in order to benefit its prom dance, which will be held on the San Francisco Belle.

Last Friday, all of the seniors involved in band and color guard were recognized before the varsity football game against Sierra High School.

Cross Country held their Senior Night on Wednesday at Woodward Park. All of the senior runners were recognized for their commitment to the sport.
