Mo's Musings: Lost in a pumpkin patch

After reading one of my columns recently, gentle reader Kathleen Castillo e-mailed this scribe wondering if I had been singing that well-known Bobby Darin tune, "Splish, Splash, I was having a flash (back)."

Not quite, but those pain killing meds can give you quite an experience.

Halloween on a Saturday, what could be better? There'll be parties for adults and all those little Halloweenies running around the neighborhoods of our town seeking treats and goodies.

A place one certainly should check out is the Rotary Interact's Haunted House. Thrills, chills and even a scream or two await the unsuspecting victim, uh, guest and those brave enough to enter. Regardless of your fright meter it all goes to those wonderful Interact community projects.
